Moringa Oleifera
Moringa trees may be the most giving plant on the face of
our planet. There is so much science that we will let you
do your own research here. We were Moringa Central for Arizona
and had been researching, raising, and selling these amazing
trees and products until 2016.
Here are just a few quotes from research articles.
Native to North Africa and the Himalayan mountains in northwestern
India, the plant has traditionally been used to do everything
from curing illnesses to boosting sexual desire and to treat
male sexual disorders in India, with no known side effects
for over a thousand years, but is much more.
The plant, which can be taken as a tea, or in tablet, powder
or oil format, is said to help the body recover from over
300 diseases or issues. And this is backed by studies from
Johns Hopkins University and the US government.
A recent study in the International Journal of Pharmacy and
Pharmaceutical Sciences found that it even enhanced sexual
behaviour in rats. It's also known to contain chemical compounds
called saponins which have been shown in other studies to
support libido and levels of the sex hormone testosterone.
"If you want to improve your health while giving your
sex life a boost, try a cup of moringa tea with your breakfast.
Moringa, or 'miracle tree', is being hailed as a superfood
that not only increases energy levels and boosts the immune
system, but can also be an aphrodisiac.
"Gram for gram, moringa has seven times the vitamin
C found in oranges, four times the calcium of milk, four times
the vitamin A of carrots, three times the potassium of bananas
and three times the iron of spinach. Its tiny leaves are also
high in protein, with twice the amount found in yoghurt, and
the plant is 42% protein and can be used as a stand alone
diet almost indefinitely. Some people have lost a pound a
day for several months by using a supermix of Moringa."
See chart.
"Moringa oleifera has an impressive range of medicinal
uses with high nutritional value and medicinal benefits. Different
parts of this plant contain a profile of important minerals,
and are a good source of protein, vitamins, beta-carotene,
amino acids and various phenolics. The Moringa plant provides
a rich and rare combination of zeatin, quercetin, beta-sitosterol,
caffeoylquinic acid and kaempferol.
Moringa can act as cardiac and circulatory stimulants, possess
antitumor, antipyretic, antiepileptic, antiinflammatory, antiulcer,
antispasmodic, diuretic, antihypertensive, cholesterol lowering,
antioxidant, antidiabetic, hepatoprotective, antibacterial
and antifungal activities, and are being employed for the
treatment of different ailments in the indigenous system of
medicine."
We here at the self reliant resiliency community of TTEV
have been growing, researching, and selling Moringa trees,
products, and giving consults and workshops for almost 5 years
through various sources and formats including the University
of Sustainability. It is a complete game changer and you can
come see our large food forests of this amazing tree.
